WRAP Grants

WRAP Grants

WRAP launches all capital grant schemes via its ‘Funding’ section on their website, available at: http://www.wrap.org.uk/wrap_corporate/funding/index.html. Through regular updates, details of the most recent grant schemes are shown.

WRAP grants are provided as financial support for the capital costs associated with any project.  The use of financial support to subsidise operational costs is not permitted through the scheme(s).

The scope to which any grant application is evaluated follows the prerequisite of: to expand sales turnover, increase the amount of waste that is diverted from landfill, the reduction of CO2 and to have the appropriate planning in place.

Please go to http://www.wrap.org.uk/recycling_industry/support_funding_guidance/help_for_recycling_businesses/money_matters/capital_grants.html for details surrounding who can apply for grants, how they can apply, confidentiality issues, process timeline and applicant commitments.

WRAP eQuip

The lease of equipment under WRAP’s eQuip programme guarantees its future value.  By going down the leasing option another line of credit becomes available for any business wishing to spread its operational payments over a fixed term.  The schemes flexible nature means that payments can be altered to meet the requirements of the business.

The scheme works under the principle that small to medium sized business need quick decisions when it comes to money. As a result, the processing of an eQuip application up to £250,000 should be complete within one month.

The scheme is applicable to businesses with strong market demands, exclusions to the scheme and additional information can be found at: http://www.wrap.org.uk/recycling_industry/support_funding_guidance/help_for_recycling_businesses/money_matters/equip.html.
