Essential knowledge for composting and an Introduction to PAS100

This event is open to both members and non-members


The Organics Recycling Group in conjunction with REAL is running a one day course focused on the basics of composting and PAS 100 requirements for beginners. There is a site visit to a PAS100 certified composting site included as part of the day.


The course will include an introduction to the composting process (covering feedstocks, processing, composting techniques, process controls) alongside an introduction to PAS100 (the principles, quality management systems and how the certification scheme works) as well as a practical, site-based session that will give delegates some useful background knowledge.
