A new video has just been released to help farmers understand the benefits of using compost as a renewable fertiliser.  It provides a general overview and highlights the long term benefits to the farmer - in terms of better yields and protecting soil structure and health -  as outlined in the recently published DC-Agri research summary.

This is the third video to be produced as part of DC-Agri’s Knowledge Exchange activity. It complements the first video "Using digestate as a renewable biofertiliser”  published in 2014. The second – "Digestate and understanding nitrogen"- focuses on the experiments themselves with an emphasis on the scientific methodology taken.
