SEPA position on use of crop residues in Anaerobic Digestion plants
The Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) have issued a position statement on the use of crop residues in small AD plants which accept less than 100 tonnes of waste per day. The position covers misshapen and bruised produce separated on farms or pack-houses as well as trimmings removed on-farm or in pack houses in preparation for sale.
