Environment Agency National Permitting workshop
Central Birmingham (venue TBC), 12 January 2018
The Environment Agency is holding a customer workshop on 12 January 2018 to focus on how they can improve the land spreading permitting process. They aim to include a cross-section of customers in this workshop and to help them achieve this are keen to invite REA members to this event. Depending on the response, they may have to limit numbers at the session and therefore ask for expressions of interest in attending at this stage. Due to time constraints, we ask that expressions of interest are made as soon as possible and will confirm places and timings no later than 3 January.
The workshop will last no longer than 3 hours and your contribution would be valued and appreciated to help us shape our service for the future.
At this workshop they would like to discuss:
- Sharing of information and delivery impacts
- Application process issues – what you consider priorities for change/improvement and how you would like that to look
- Improving application quality
The EA will send a more detailed agenda to those confirming attendance beforehand to allow them to prepare for the discussions.
Anybody interested in attending should let me know by contacting Claire Bennett on 020 302 50492 or e-mailing her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
