Dry Anaerobic Digestion – introduction to the technology and case studies from UK

23rd June 2015 - Napier University, Edinburgh.

This is an event organised by the Scottish Biofuel Programme in collaboration with the Organics Recycling Group of REA, which wants to raise awareness of the potential use of Dry Anaerobic Digestion (AD) technology as a sustainable energy option and discuss the challenges and opportunities.

Dry anaerobic digestion is an opportunity for companies to convert their biological waste or by-products such as, food waste and garden waste into bioenergy, addressing a waste disposal problem whilst producing a source of renewable energy. Companies can gain a competitive edge by generating new revenue streams, reducing costs, meeting environmental goals and cost-effectively complying with legislation.

Come along to our event to hear case studies from people who are making it work for them, meet the team and network over lunch.
