The waste management plan for EnglandThis is a government consultation on the Waste Management Plan for England. The content of the plan is determined by the requirements of Article 28 of the Directive. The plan is a compilation of existing waste management information and policies. In particular, it reflects the conclusions of the government review of waste policy in 2011 and developments since the review was published.

Consultation on the Waste Prevention Programme for EnglandPrior to finalising the Waste Prevention Programme for England the Government is seeking views on the proposed vision, priorities, metrics and roles which aim to reduce the amount of waste produced across the economy. The findings from this exercise will be used to inform the final Programme, which will be published along with a summary of evidence by the end of 2013. The Devolved Administrations are developing their own Waste Prevention Programmes which will be published separately. This consultation runs until 23rd September 2013.

EC Consultative Communication on the Sustainable Use of PhosphorusThe purpose of this Consultative Communication is to draw attention to the sustainability of phosphorus use and to initiate a debate on the state of play and the actions that should be considered. It is not designed with specific legislation on phosphorus in mind.
